Today we can safely say that `Frankenstein` is at the source of the science fiction genre. This, possessing a gloomy, but unusually strong energy story about a scientist, the unique invention of which turned into a tragedy for him and others, anticipated the pessimistic motives of a number of modern science fiction works. It is no coincidence that many writers addressed this plot in the 20th century, and the story itself was multiple film. The name of Frankenstein himself, a man who created an evil force, with whom he could not cope, became a household name.
