Paris, the 1830s. Nine -year -old Sophie lives in poverty with a seriously ill mother. Somehow they interrupted by sewing linen to order. Once, in order to help his mother, Sophie is taken to take the stitched shirts to the rich area of Paris. So she gets into the house of the famous ballerina Selin Varans. Having become a pupil of the ballerina, Sophie gets acquainted with her environment: the old aristocrat and revolutionary citizen Marquis and the boy-worm Tussen brought from the colonies. And Sophie becomes a nanny and the guardian of the little daughter Selin, the heroine of the adventures, which we will follow by holding our breath.
“French nanny” is a novel by the famous Italian writer Bianca Pitzorno, gracefully woven into the canvas of the Jane Air work and written in the best traditions of a classic novel, full of original references to works of culture and art of the 19th century.
