Frida Kalo

Frida Kalo (1907-1954) became one of the idols of our time thanks to her canvases and, possibly even in a greater sint, her very image in photography and painting.

She wrote about one hundred and fifty paintings, half Of which are self -portraits: Frida Kalo herself was the central theme of the work of Frida Kalo. Heavy and long work on the formation of their own personality, the definition of identity, resistance in the constant experience of physical suffering, the search for the sources of their “I”, which determine the character - this is the main driving force on the artist’s path to the vast world of Latin American surrealism. This colorful album, written by two famous Italian art historians, tells about the difficult fate of the famous Mexican artist and her creative path. The album included not only the most famous works of Frida Kalo, but also rare photographs of the artist.
