Fugitive in Novorossia. Danilevsky Grigory Petrovich
Russian writer Grigory Petrovich Danilevsky (1829-1890) is known mainly as the author of entertaining historical novels. In the novel “Feeling in New Russia”, Danilevsky showed the peasant “will”, obtained by the shoot. The heroes of the novel are peasants who fled from serfdom, from the hosts of the oppressors, and they fell into an even more terrible bondage, rise to active protest. They stand for honor, for a good name, for true Christian values.
