Fulminant. Swift Lightning. In English. Kerwood J.O.
American writer James Oliver Kerwood (1878–1927) was born and lived most of his life in the state of Michigan, near the Canadian border. A passionate hunter, naturalist and traveler, he wandered for a long time in the deaf and poorly studied places of Northern Canada and Alaska, knew and loved these harsh lands well. The wild nature of the North and the life of its four -legged inhabitants are devoted to his best works.
“Fast lightning” is an exciting and exciting story about a wolf, whose genealogy is an unusual distant ancestor - a German dog. Strong and courageous, with a wild soul, it is still different from its counterparts, especially in relation to other animals and people.
And while life forces him to enter many fights, the greatest struggle unfolds inside him - between the bestial instinct and the desire of friendship, the law of a wolf pack and the desire for good. Through many trials, fast lightning will be able to find itself, but its path will be long, like a long polar night.
