The manual was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum for human anatomy for higher educational medical institutions. The publication contains basic information on the anatomy of the organs of vision, hearing and balance, the features of their blood supply and innervation. Along with the Russian names, the corresponding Latin and Greek terms are given in accordance with the international anatomical nomenclature (2003). The features of the organization of taste and olfactory analyzers are briefly set out. At the end of the manual, the basics of the structure of the skin and its derivatives are described, the basic laws of conducting pulses of general sensitivity are revealed.

The proposed material is strictly structured. The text is accompanied by classic and original illustrations, at which all the necessary anatomical formations are demonstrated. At the end of each section, the conductive paths of each of the analyzers are briefly set out.

In this publication, the term - somatosensory organs were first proposed. The introduction of this term, from our point of view, is justified, since the receptor apparatus of the skin, muscles, ligaments and periosteums (somatic structures) is able to perceive and transform into nervous impulses the most important irritation in the life of a person, such as pain, temperature, tactile and proprioceptive, themes The most creating conditions for a more complete adaptation of a person to the environment.

This manual provides for the systematization of knowledge gained in lectures and practical classes, it can be used as a “block diagram” in the study of the relevant topics in preparation to the offset of the sections “Anatomy of the Central Nervous System and Self -Self -Self -Self” and “Angioneurology”, as well as when repeating the material under the period of the examination session.

The manual is designed for students and cadets of the training faculties of doctors, students of faculties of advanced training , it can also be used by clinicists of various specialties.
