This edition presents the content of the subject of transfusiology, the basics of modern transfusiological legislation, the features of transfusiological support of patients with surgical profile on the basis of experience acquired by the authors in the walls of the multidisciplinary surgical institution of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Scientific Center for Surgery named after Acad. B.V. Petrovsky ". The role of modern transfusiology in the existence and harmonious development of surgery and a number of other medical specialties is shown.
