A manual in a playful way introduces preschoolers to the concepts of “sentence”, “word”, with the letters and sounds of the Russian alphabet. The basis of acquaintance with the sounds was the “My Primer” by N. V. Nischeva, where the order of acquaintance with sounds corresponds to the appearance of sounds in the child’s speech in ontogenesis. Games and exercises of manuals can be used to conduct frontal classes by acquaintance with sound and letter and for the individual work of the house to consolidate the studied. Visual material is selected in such a way that children and parents have no difficulties in completing tasks. The manual is addressed to the teachers of the DOW, developing centers and parents of preschool children
