The book examines the Board of the Frankish Kings from the Merovingian dynasty in 511–561, while the strengthening of this Frankish dynasty in Gaul occurred. Although the founder of the Clovis dynasty (480–511) was replaced by his sons who divided the kingdom of his father among themselves, this did not prevent the further expansion of the Frankish power on the continent. This period abounded in wars and conflicts, as a result of which the territory was finally established, to which the power of the Frankish kings spread. The borders of the Frankish authorities formed at that time decided on several centuries, remaining almost unchanged until the onset of the Carolingian era.
