George Vladimov is one of the most striking Russian writers of the second half of the twentieth century. His novel “Three minutes of Silence” for four years after the release of light withstood 27 publications in 18 languages. The novel “General and His Army” brought the author in 1995 the Buker Prize, and in 2001 was named the best novel of the decade.

The present edition included all the most famous works of George Vladimov, as well as chosen journalism.
