“Genius” is one of the most striking and emotional works of the outstanding American writer Theodore Dreiser. The action of the novel takes place in America of the late nineteenth century and tells about the creative and moral searches of the provincial artist Yujin Vitla, who dreamed of becoming the first painter who managed to catch all the breadth and wealth of American culture on canvas.
