Theodore Dreiser is a famous American writer. His books, such as “American tragedy”, “Carrie’s sister”, trilogy “financier. Titanium. Stoic ”, enjoyed great success among readers around the world and still arouse keen interest. The real edition included two famous Dreiser novels: “Genius” and “Oplot”. The novel “Genius” tells about the creative and moral searches of the provincial artist Yujin Vitla, who dreamed of becoming the first painter who was able to catch the whole breadth and wealth of American culture on canvas. According to the author himself, the “stronghold” is a work for him no less significant and personal than the “American tragedy”, and largely reflects and complements this great novel.
