Gerard Friedrich Miller. A long way into history. Monograph. Belkovets L.

The first edition of the monograph on G. F. Miller, entitled “Russia in German historical journalism of the XVIII century. G. F. Miller and A.F. Bushing was carried out in 1988 at the expense of socialism in the USSR by Tomsk State University. The scientific work of these scientists in the field of education was recognized as a kind of unique evidence of the dialectical interaction of two national cultures, German and Russian, which had a great influence on all Western European education. The monograph played an important role not only in the scientific fate of its author, who received the degree of Assembly of Tomsk University, the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences, but also in the historiographical fate of its protagonist - G. F. Miller, finally recognized by the scientific community of Russia as the founder of its historical science.

A beautiful school for young people going to science can serve as an example of the formation of a genuine scientist, which is based not only by giftedness and ability to scientific work, but also by the very work, stubborn, endless, becoming the norm of life, without which itself This life simply loses its meaning.
