The real edition includes the three most significant plays of the world -famous Norwegian playwright, one of the founders of the European “New Drama” by Henrik Ibsen. The play “The Puppet House” (1879) was perceived by contemporaries as a manifesto of feminism, but in fact, Ibsen is not limited to the issue of female emancipation, but poses a deeper, universal problem - the problem of personality freedom. He discovers the internal dysfunction of modern reality hiding behind the visible idyll, this topic develops and fastens in “ghosts” (1881). In the late play “Builder Solnes” (1892), Ibsen, under the influence of the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, reflects on chosenness and retaliation for him.
