Dimka is a student of an art school. He loves his drawing teacher Andrei Vladimirovich, very well understands painting and gets along well with everyone around. Together with the teacher and his art class, the boy leaves for summer sketches, where he meets an exact copy, the subject of his secret dreams - a living girl who looks like an image in Venetianov’s picture “Girl in a checkered scarf”. Of course, he falls in love, but does not yet understand that the picture, his dream is not a living person and it should not be as perfect as on a canvas!

The story “Girl in a Fat Shake” received a prize of the youth jury of the VII International Competition named after Sergey Mikhalkov.
