“Glass-eyed” is a welfare novel written by the author shortly before leaving life. Sergei Sokolkin is widely known as a poet, publicist, public figure, during the events of 1993 he was imprisoned in the "Butirka" on charges of rebellion. As a prose writer became known shortly before his death, with the release of the debut novel “Ruskaya Chock”, which managed to withstand two editions.
The second (and last!) Roman is a multifaceted and multi -fry work. The reader awaits a bright mix of relevant social topics, personal memoirs about the capital's bohemia and documentary, created on the basis of conversations with representatives of the “power block”. This is simultaneously a detective, comedy, melodrama and tragedy from the life of different social groups. The author, as the famous songwriter, managed to preserve special melodious lyrical intonations inherent in his original style.
The novel is based on real events.
