The rhizome of Helenium dies every year together with the above -ground part of the plant, but new buds are formed on the underground part of the stems, giving the beginning of a new rosette of leaves with roots. As such, the glenium bush is not formed, in this case the bush is understood as many closely located independent plants. The stems of Golenium are straight, up to 160 cm high. The leaves are the next, lanceolate. Inflorescences - baskets, yellow, red, orange, brown, purple colors, one- or two -tone.

Every 2-3 years, the glenium must be divided, otherwise plants can freeze in winter.
