The book of a tireless traveler and ski -Ski Vladimir Sharko is an attempt to reconstruct events that took place in January 1959 with a group of tourists -studants of the Ural Polytechnic Institute under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov, who went to the remote district of the Northern Urals and died under circumstances unclear. Techniques and methods for disclosing the causes of the incident used by the author are fundamentally different from all versions and conclusions, published earlier by other experts and journalists.
