Gol is rush. Pictures from nature. Leikin N.A.
This book of Nikolai Alexandrovich Leikin included a collection of stories “Gole Perekatny” and the story “A piece of bread”. The “Perekatny Gol” largely resembles the section on the cunning of the recognized masterpiece of Vladimir Alekseevich Gilyarovsky “Moscow and Muscovites”, only the case takes place in St. Petersburg. The author without embellishment shows the life of people who descended to the social bottom of the people who are in the corners, in attics and in basements, vividly depicting unbearable conditions of existence and rampant drunkenness. The “piece of bread” continues the topic affected in the collection, giving the opportunity to look at the life of those suffering from crop failures in villages and from the lack of jobs in the cities of people, as a result of doomed either for beggarly, or for dubious methods of earnings. The author once again demonstrates the excellent possession of the word and, despite the overall tone of the collection, as always revives what is happening with its well -aimed observations.
