Gold of dreams. Culturological blessed and damned metal. Dutley R.
“Gold of dreams” is the final part of the Ralph Dutley trilogy, which includes the “Divine Oliva” and “Song of Mede” (both - Ivan Lumbach Publishing House, 2019). Starting his story with how gold hit the ground as a result of a clash of neutron stars, the author traces the history of his interaction with a person in different eras, on different continents. Not limited to its material aspect, Dutley writes about what trace this story has left in culture, recalls ancient myths, folk tales, classical and modern works of literature, music and fine art. The book is completed by a small anthology “Gold of verses.”
