The novel "The Gold of Taiga" consists of three parts. The heroes of the first part of the “gold”, the students of the physical faculty of LSU Henry and Zhenya, fall on the secret military object, where they come across traces of the treasure and meet the mysterious forces that store gold in the taiga. The action of the second part of the novel “Varenka” proceeds against the background of tragic events at the beginning of the 20th century. The events of the third part of the “lake” unfold in the 90s of the last century. Young guys, the lost generation of the nineties, go to the taiga, to the zone, where, according to rumors, from the time of the USSR there was a nuclear charge that had not been broken during the experiment and treasures were hidden in a deadline. All three exciting storylines converge in one place - in the taiga on Lake Chusovsky near the village of Semsosna.
