One night, a boy named Mélle sees a strange creature on the edge of his bed, similar to a woolen lump with handles, legs and sharp furry ears. Mella turns on the flashlight to make out it, but a strange creature disappears.

In 2016, this book won the prize of the Dutch children's jury, which is awarded the best children's book of the year.
The book contains more than 70 color illustrations made by the famous Dutch artist Rick de Haas.
