“Strokes of life”-an attempt to comprehend and display interethnic relations in Soviet and post-Soviet Russia using the example of a specific Russian-Jewish-Ukrainian family. The author of the author, the submariner Hero of the Soviet Union Israel Ilyich Fisanovich died in the North Sea. Mother Elena Andreevna Buryanova, an engineer in electrical equipment of warships and submarines, died in Leningrad. Taras Fisanovich was born on January 19, 1939 in the city of Polyarny, Murmansk region. He graduated from medical and polytechnic institutes. Surgeon, candidate of medical sciences, author of 70 publications and inventions in the field of medicine. The book proposed to the reader discusses the situations, problems of mentality, ethics and aesthetics, psychological and philosophical aspects, associated with interethnic relations in the homeland and in emigration. The book contains family chronicles, autobiographical sketches, stories, articles, essays and poems, partly published in Russia, Belarus, Germany and Ukraine, as well as on the Russian -speaking sites of the USA, England and Israel.
