The monograph analyzes the development of cooperation between the European Union and NATO in the first quarter of the XXI century. - Before and after Brexit. The strategic approaches of these two structures and their member states to global and regional security issues, to relations with Russia and China were studied. The concept of transatlantic security space as an ideological construct and as a theoretical concept within the framework of social constructivism is considered. The changing role and place of Great Britain in the “Transatlantic Security Space” after leaving the European Integration Association, a qualitatively new level of relations and coordination of the politicians of the European Union and NATO states after Brexit. A forecast for the relationship of EU-NATO in the long term has been developed. The risks associated with this have been identified for Russia. Particular attention is paid to the theoretical grounds of studying the multilateral political cooperation of states in the field of security.
