The book includes one of the most interesting Russian folk tales in classical retelling. The fairy -tale heroes of the “Wooden Eagle”, “Nikita Kozhemyaki” and “Morozko” were drawn by the famous artist, honored figure of the RSFSR Leonid Vladimirsky. He believed that even evil characters in children's books should look kind and not to scare little readers. Therefore, fairy tales in the drawings of L. Vladimir can be read even to the kids.
