completely unexpectedly, Rupert, a boy from a poor family, spends Christmas with Rivers, the richest family of the city. These people are welcoming, bakery and very funny. Each holiday they play a bunch of games, where the prizes serve as real trifles for them and real treasures for Rupert. An inspired boy with great pleasure joins all games, but... loses all the produced treasures at the very last moment! Feeling secretly guilty, the Rivers are trying to make amends and draw Rupert into one incredible adventure after another, starting from a night trip to a snowstorm and ending with a time travel. But will they be able to compensate for what he lost?
