The proposed textbook has a practical orientation and is intended for students studying Greek in higher educational institutions, for teachers of the Greek language, as well as for people who want to learn Greek on their own. It includes an introductory-phonetic course, which gives general information on the phonetics of modern Greek and phonetic exercises, the main course, consolidated grammatical tables and a dictionary. All exercises given in the textbook are aimed at activating both the grammatical and lexical material of the lesson and, ultimately, at the development of oral speech skills.
