Grigory Inger (1910-1995) managed to describe the world of Russian Jewish culture, combining classical skill and artistic discoveries of the beginning of the 20th century. It is known primarily as one of the most striking illustrators of Jewish literature and as an artist whose creative method combined national identity and universal modernist language. This album includes the most complete edition of the artist’s works, including the textbook illustrations for the works of Sholom Aleicham, the famous series “My Childhood”, “Biblical Cycle”, “Chaplin” and others.
