This book talks about people who played a significant role in the history of Russian military intelligence. The first of them is P.I. The circumstances of his service show readers the confrontation of Soviet intelligence with the German and American special services, Ukrainian nationalists and other opponents of the USSR. The book also tells about the fate of scouts-GRU Colonel Georgy Nikitovich Bolshakov and resident of the KGB of the USSR in Washington, Hero of the Russian Federation (1996) Alexander Semenovich Feklisov, against the background of American-Soviet relations of the 1950s and 1960s.
