The illuminum of the THL-500-2 lamp is installed with the G9.5 base (is included) and the color temperature of 3000–3200 K, which corresponds to typical film lamps. The protection of the halogen lamp is carried out by a flap of heat-resistant quartz glass with perforation for heat removal. Due to the good transparency of the quartz glass, the light passing through the flask is practically not absorbed and does not change its spectral composition. During the transportation on top of the quartz flask, a protective plastic cap is installed, securely fixed in the byonet.

control panel and operating modes

On the back of the illuminator is the control panel with a digital display, to the right of which is a dimmer-regulator, and on the left is a three-position (Pror/OFF/100%) tooth switch of the lighting operating modes. PROR-mode of smooth, unacceptable change in power by the rotation of the dimmer-regulator. Power settings from 10 to 100% are displayed on a digital display. The 100%mode is designed for rapid switching to full power. The OFF mode - disconnecting the lamp with a fan, is used for speedy cooling and extends the life of the lamp. The lightinger provides an automatic dynamic cooling system - a powerful fan and an electronic control unit. When the illuminator is operating, the control system continuously controls the temperature inside the case. During long -term shooting, upon reaching the maximum temperature value, a warning light signal of the overheating indicator located above the control panel is turned on. At the same time, the halogen lamp is turned off, and the fan continues to work to cool the device.

Metal case with a bracket

The ergonomic metal case of the illuminator has a ribbed shape and rows of perforation for effective heat -voltage. Above the control panel is a handle for carrying the device and adjusting the angle of the illumination of the illuminator. The illuminator is installed on a rack with a 5/8-adapter “(not included) using a metal bracket located at the bottom of the case. The angle of inclination of the illuminator is adjusted to the endless position, and the selected position is securely fixed with a metal screw with a comfortable clamping rotating handle (a “ratchet type” type is implemented in this node), that is, the button on the handle allows you to raise and crank the handle to the desired position without weakening the screw. Having lowered the handle, you can continue tightening the screw. The clamp efforts are enough for sharing with the lighter of light -forming nozzles of any weight and size.
