Sasha Filipenko, as always (read the “former son”, “intentions”, “Red Cross”, “Return to the Ostrog”, “Cremator”), relevant, observant, witty and - laconic. He again managed to pack a full -format action -packed novel in a small book. Of course, there is a skill of a television screenwriter of the first channel and “rain”, but another one is felt: the heroes of Sasha Filipenko are his peers and contemporaries. Musicians, football players, journalists, political technologists. They were not lucky with the era. They acutely feel the runaway youth, perhaps that is why their dialogs are so fragmentary and encoded, and their love does not imply continued. “Half” is a story that cynicism and irony are not at all universal armor.
