This is the first book of a series of practical manuals in four books under the general name “Half -Screed on BMK series 5503 and 5507”, devoted to general information about basic matrix crystals, issues of the design methodology for them, design tools and libraries of half -order microcircuits of series 5503 and 5507, which have been widely used in electronic equipment.

The book contains information about domestic basic matrix crystals used in cosmic equipment. The design of the BMK series 5503 and 5507 is described in detail, their main characteristics are given. The book presents the methodology for designing semi-order BIS and the development of equipment based on them, outlines the procedure for mastering the production of BIS, a review of regulatory and technical documentation that regulates the requirements for microcircuits, gives an example of designing the microcircuit on BMC 5503 by means of CAPR “Ark 3.0”.
