Many contemporaries appreciated her poems and especially prose, but perhaps she did not become as popular as Khlebnikov, twisted, Mayakovsky, because she passed away before futurism became mainstream.
E. Guro's books They consist of fragmented, sustained in a certain emotional vein of excerpts. These disparate miniature stories with an independent plot, often with a difficultly defined genre in some elusive way, are connected in unity and are peculiar bricks from which the writer builds a book. In her diary, she writes that the work should sound “the voice of inexhaustible love”, as if “the author has become the mother of all the things and loves their maternal and proud love,” and the poet should strive “at least partially distract through the ideas of creativity” from “difficult and hard.
