Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov (1814 -1841) -one of the most significant poets of Russian literature of the 19th century. The combination of simplicity and hills, naturalness and originality distinguishes the master’s hand, and his ability to objectively show the characters of the heroes, revealing one character through perception by another, to this day delights readers and critics. The famous novel “Hero of our time” tells about the amazing fate of an extra secular man, talented, but doomed not to be happy due to the very circumstances of his birth, education, and belonging to a certain circle.
