Thomas Carleil (1795–1881) - British writer, philosopher and historian of Scottish origin. The author of famous works, such as the “French Revolution” (1837) and “The Life Story of Friedrich II of Prussia” (1858–1865). The main topics of his works are always the “cult of heroism” and “divine destruction”, as well as the formation of a person as a person. The book “Heroes, Heroes veneration and Hero in History” included a cycle of lectures of the author of the late period, which is dedicated to the role of an exceptional person in world history, the relationship of the “Hero” and “Ordinary Society”. It was thanks to this work that Thomas Carleil was able to subsequently become one of the most respected political prophets.
