Under this pseudonym Gerald Berto is now known around the world as the master of “black” science fiction and “terrible fairy tales.”

Owen was friends with another great Belgian - Jean Ray, whom he made the hero of his story “In the Bercastel cemetery” from the Black Book of Miracles.

Thomas Owen also wrote under the pseudonym Stefan Ray. The first book of the author included the novels “Household House”, “Complete Unknown”, “Crime in the Swing style”, “Indigo Gold” and a series of stories.
