The purpose of the Atlas is to help students in the practical development of the material of laboratory classes in studying the course of histology, cytology and embryology. The basis of the atlas is original drawings from histological preparations that reflect the main sections of the standard course in the subject. They are complemented by a number of drawings with electron-microscopic photographs and diagrams. For the convenience of using the Atlas, all its sections contain brief systematic training texts, which not only give explanations to illustrations, but also deepen their perception, revealing the role and significance of individual structural details presented. The authors of drawings and text are professional histologists with many years of teaching experience.
