History of England. Morois Andre

Andre Morua, a classic of French literature of the 20th century, the author of the famous novelized biographies of Dumas, Balzac, Viktor Hugo, Shelley and Byron are considered a true master of psychological prose. However, a significant part of the writer's heritage is historical works. In the “History of England”, written by Morois in 1937 and first translated into Russian, the author was brilliantly created to create an amazingly lively and emotional portrait of the country, for many centuries, from Neolithic to this day, which carefully kept and cultivated its identity, its traditions and national pride.
