The book is a textbook on the course of the “History of the Christian Church” for classes with students of the initial stage of the Sunday school and is part of a single educational-methodical kit for Sunday schools. The manual is addressed to children 9-10 years old. In this regard, the system of presentation of historical material is not quite traditional and designed for children who have not yet studied history as an educational subject in a comprehensive school.
