History scribes. Myths about Katyn. Tereshchenko A.
The book is dedicated to one of the stages of complex Soviet-Polish relations of the period of 1939-1945. After the rapid attack and the Germans captured Soviet camps with Polish officers in the Smolensk region, the Nazis used them at different works. During the retreat, prisoners of war of the Poles were shot by them. Goebbels propaganda accused the Soviet direction of this. To normalize relations with the Polish People’s Republic of Khrushchev, Stalin found the Soviet side guilty. This version was supported by Gorbachev and Yeltsin. But the analysis of new circumstances allows us to draw a different conclusion - the Poles were really shot by the Nazis. This version was recognized by the US Congress, the World Red Cross and the World Public. The author also supports it.
The book is intended for a wide range of readers.
