Tobias Bek had a difficult life. He was kicked out of the school with a diagnosis of “unacceptable”, he spent a significant part of his youth in the most terrible sect of Germany, and at the age of twenty he lived in a tree house in the poor region of Brazil. But all the trials that fell to the share of the author only tempered his character.
