We present to your attention the book “Hollow” by Agatha Christie

Poiro invited to relax at the estate of her friend, Lady Enkeitall, called “Hollow”. Arriving at the place, the detective sees an amazing sculptural composition: Dr. Christou picturesquely lies in a puddle of red paint, his wife Gerda stands above him with a gun, and the rest of the guests froze around in a “dumb pause”. However, reality had nothing to do with art: red paint turned out to be blood, and the woman’s pistol was real in her hands. There is a murder. Poirot finds out that the deceased led a rather confusing personal life during his lifetime, and all his “attachments” are currently in the “hollow”. All evidence indicates Kristou's wife. But Poiro smells: something is wrong here...
