The book is dedicated to the review of the life path of the elder Paisiy Svyatogorets, recently glorified in the face of the saints by the Orthodox Church.

Baptized by the Monk Arseny of Cappadocian and decided from early childhood to become a monk, Elder Paisius spent his whole life in an exceptional spiritual feat, consciously depriving himself of all the benefits of civilization for the sake of struggle with passions and acquiring divine grace.

Overcoming bodily suffering and illness, Elder Paisius generously shared his spiritual gifts with a huge number of pilgrims who came to the Holy Mount Athos to receive healing, comforting , the instruction in faith from the famous spiritual father.

The innumerable number of miracles and healings by the prayers of the God -bearing Elder already brought him the popular glory of the saint, which he completely gave to the Lord. The grave of the elder Paisius in the monastery of St. John the Theologian in the harsh and his cell of the “Panagud” on Athos are a place of pilgrimage to Orthodox Christians from around the world.
