Imagine the pilgrims of the last century or at times, even earlier. People hit the road on a vow, with blessing, in the aspiration of healing from an incurable ailment, and most often, simply by irresistible craving to touch the shrine, take away and preserve it in their own heart. Today, as before, like hundreds of years ago, human motives remain unchanged. However, the very method of pilgrimage has changed. Today, as a rule, they get to any transport, while before they were most often on foot, and the hardships of the path were part of the victim brought to God.
