Volkhova is a mid-season honeysuckle variety of selection of the Pavlovsk Experienced Vir (St. Petersburg, Russia). The bushes are strong, tall (more than 2 meters), with a dense squat of oval shape. The shoots are thick, straight, with rare villus. Long-sized leaves, dense, saturated dark green color. The variety can be used in garden design. Berries of medium or slightly lower than medium size (weighing 0.6-0.8 grams, in length-up to 1.7 cm), in shape-elongated-oval, with a dull top. The skin is strong, medium in thickness, in color-bluish-blue. The pulp of very good sweet taste (almost without acid), to the best of fragrant, with a delicate strawberry tint.
