Socio-Philosophical novel “The Hour of the Bull” is one of the main works of the founder of modern Russian science fiction, philosopher and paleontologist Ivan Efremov. The action of the novel unfolds on the distant planet Tormans, many thousands of years ago sheltered earthlings who left the land on the verge of disaster. The civilization of the Tormans has froze at the stage of totalitarian "state capitalism", hopeless and hopeless. By chance, there is a spaceship from the New Earth.
