The book “How Russia recognized India. The chronicle from ancient times to the present day ”for the first time submits a journalistic chronicle, as began long before the merchant Athanasius Nikitin and the rapprochement of Russia and India developed. 47 of its chapters include about 1000 plots, as well as travelers and an application with Indian fairy tales that Pushkin, Tolstoy and other luminaries have retained. The chapter on the active participation of the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin in the formation of strategic cooperation of the two powers is especially important.
