Humanitarian knowledge and challenges of time. Levit S.Ya.

The problem of humanitarian knowledge is the focus of the conference, held in November 2013 as part of the anniversary exhibition of INION RAS.

This publication considers a set of problems presented in the reports of domestic and foreign scientists: the role of humanitarian knowledge in the modern world, the specifics of humanitarian knowledge, the mission and strategy of modern philosophy, the theory and methodology of cognitive history, philosophical universalism and the diversity of cultural Worlds, the variety of methods of research and knowledge of the human world, myth and reality of Russian culture, the problems of Russian intelligentsia. During the conference, the main directions of development of humanitarian knowledge in modern conditions were outlined.
