Hunger. Ageev A.L.
The book of literary critic and publicist Alesandra Ageev (1956-2008) includes articles published from 2000 to 2004 in the Internet project "Russian Journal". These are 103 columns from the heading “Hunger” and 12 texts published in the “Russian Journal” after its closure. Ageev found for himself a synthetic genre that naturally combines “life and literature” (criticism and journalism).
This is the author's column. In the 2000s, he led speakers in the newspapers MN MN, Gazeta, in the Russian Journal, in the journal Profile, the Banner magazine, and the View Internet Gazeta. The critic is tough, who preferred a sharp polemic, for which he gained many enemies among colleagues and writers. “Ageev was the most striking critic of his (our) generation” (Andrey Nemzer).
