Hydrogel is a modern material for the accumulation, retention and subsequent uniform surrender of moisture. The hydrogel is able to absorb water up to 500 times more than its own weight. When mixing a hydrogel with soil mixture for indoor and decorative plants, the irrigation rate is reduced by 50-60 %, and when introduced into open ground - by 20–40 %. The hydrogel does not lose its properties after complete drying and freezing. At the end of the expiration date, the hydrogel decomposes into carbon dioxide, ammonium and water.

Method of use:

  • when transplanting and transporting plants with an open root system. In a separate container, prepare a concentrated solution. For 5 g of dry matter, 1 liter of water is required. Dip the roots of the plant in the solution and place it in the ground. Sprinkle the soil, compact and slightly spill the plant. The hydrogel will preserve small hairs of roots from drying out and damage.
  • when growing seedlings. Mix a hydrogel with soil. 1 g of hydrogel is required for 1 liter of soil. Plant seedlings in the resulting mixture and spill. The hydrogel introduced into the soil will not allow the roots to surpass in case of overflow and protect the plant from drying out.
  • when planting lawns. 10 m2 requires 250–400 g of dry hydrogel. Divide the required amount into 5 parts. ⅘ Parts of the hydrogel are added to the soil to a depth of 5–10 cm. ⅕ Part of the hydrogel evenly scatter on the surface of the soil. Put the diarrhea on top and spill.
